news / Odell Beckham Sets NFL Record for Most Receiving Yards in 1st 16 Games

Odell Beckham Jr. does more than just make spectacular catches.

He finished the Giants’ 24-10 win over the Bills with five catches for 38 yards. Beckham pushed his career receiving total to 1,612 yards — the most by a player in his first 16 games.

Beckham Jr. already eclipsed the receptions record for a receiver in his first 16 games with 110.

And now Beckham has passed Bill Groman for most yards through a receiver’s first 16 games. Groman set the record during the 1960-61 season with 1,593 yards.
